The release trailer for "Banishers: Ghost of New Eden," a gripping game to be published by French company Focus Entertainment, was a showcase of audiovisual excellence, premiering at the prestigious Game Awards. This project was an epic display of storytelling and sound design, matching the game's intense and immersive world.
Services Provided:
In collaboration with Amsterdam-based Clear Music, Dashwave played a pivotal role in bringing the game's world to life through sound. Our team crafted and delivered around 100 individual sound stems, which Clear Music later mixed in 5.1 surround sound to complement their custom-composed trailer score.
Challenges and Solutions:
One of the primary challenges was creating a diverse range of sound elements that could be intricately blended with the trailer's music score. We focused on choosing each sound to be versatile and impactful, ensuring they would collectively enhance the trailer's dramatic narrative while maintaining the individual integrity of each sound.
Results:
The final mix for the "Banishers: Ghost of New Eden" trailer was an auditory feast, perfectly syncing with the visuals to create an enthralling experience. The collaboration resulted in a sound design that was both complex and cohesive, effectively conveying the game's epic and mysterious atmosphere.
